Something I have wanted to do for years now is to be the Wizard of Oz cast for a Halloween party. Finally this year Juan was forced good with it!!! Julianna was the cutest Dorothy around! Annelise was a beautiful Glinda the good witch and Dad was scarecrow. What is Marielle? A munchkin of course!!! Both Dad and Marielle's costume were made from things around the house (the hat I made from Annelise's fabric stash).
The good witch is kind to the little munchkin! Her crown was made from an apple juice container.
My sister used to tell me that I looked just like the bad witch of the West when we were kids. Sadly it is soooooooo true, I really do look like her!

Every year we try to have friends over to paint pumpkins. Annelise went all out, with a bat pumpkin!

Julianna chose this funky pumpkin with wart looking bumps! I thought that she was kidding when she wanted it at the pumpkin patch!?!?! She seriously couldn't have been more proud of her selection!. . .That girl!

Annelise wanted to wear her recital costume for trick or treating. She looked beautiful as well!

This year I had to turn it down a lot for Julianna! She is terrified of all things creepy! Hopefully next year my zombie babies will make a come back?
