Just playing on the Ipad. . .

 This summer has been jam packed with visitors and trips. 

So when Annelise's kindergarden teacher asked what exciting things she did this summer, and her response was "playing on the Ipad", I was shocked! 

 This year Julianna asked to be in Ballet, so here she is!  She seams to love it so far! 

 We were lucky enough to squeeze in a visit to the Hyatt Hill country resort, while Dad worked. The kids had a blast!!!  It is one of my favorite hotels! They have thought of it all! 

 Nightly S'mores, no less!!! They were sooooo delicious!  

 Marielle even got the graham cracker part every night too!  mmmmmm cookies and milk! 

 They had a lazy river with a sandy beach entrance. All the pools were made to look like rivers and ponds. 

 Back to reality! Boy can this baby make a mess!!!  She is called "Hurricane Marielle' at our house!

 Going to the pool a lot and losing the fourth front tooth!!!

 Going to see the bats coming out of the congress bridge in downtown Austin was on our summer to do list.  The kids loved it, but I got pooped on!!!

So now you know!!!  She did not just play on the stinking Ipad!!!!!?????!?!?? That girl has it so good, and she doesn't even know it! Oh well!  

Happy Birthday Marielle!!!

 Marielle's Birthday is the 3rd of July, so naturally we celebrated on the 4th with family!

 The day after we had some painting fun!!! I let the kids paint themselves too! 

 A dunk in the big bucket was a huge hit!!!

Dear Marielle,
You are by far STILL the funnest thing in the house! Your sisters are always playing with you and swooning over you! You are always happy and very friendly to everyone. You are already walking and babbling up a storm!  You have four teeth. You don't like food!?!? You give great hugs and you sleep through the night. You like to hit your sisters for fun and are already showing that you DON' T like to share! You never sit still and love to be carried around to see what's going on! You say Mama and Dada and Nana (You call both sisters "nana"). You love to be read to.
 I am crazy about you!!!!  I swear I have five new wrinkles around my eyes from smiling at you the last year!!!
You really make me so happy and I love you!!!

In a Nutshell!

The last month has been JAM packed! So here is one LONG post! 

We stayed at the Grapevine Wolf lodge! It is an indoor water park. The girls had a blast!  Annelise asks to go back at least twice a week. While we were there we visited the Lego land and aquarium, they happened to be down the street. 

Cinco De Mayo!  

We are not of Mexican origin but any holiday that calls for tequila and tacos is a good one to celebrate in my book!!! 

 Annelise made me the little painting, and I love it! I made Juan's favorite, tres leches!

 Got this idea from pintrest. You put glow sticks in the bath tub and the kids go wild!!!  They sell a pack of necklaces in multiple colors at the dollar store!

 Last day of school..... sniff sniff.....

 Jualianna's teacher made her this picture of her holding a kitten. Wow, how she loves it!!! We miss her teacher and class soooo much! 

 Annelise Graduates!  

Her teacher was the best ever as well!!!  I can't say enough about the girl's teachers!!!

 This was a baby shower my playgroup and I put together for my only reader!!! (at least I hope you are reading this, because then I would have NO readers???)

Ahhh GOOD Mommy friends at a picnic table on a mild summer night... does it get any better!?!?!?!? 

 The Lovely Mommy herself! I think she was embarrassed to be "showered", but hey. . . what are friends for?!?!?!

 Annelise's THIRD dance recital! This year's number was a tap dance, and she did pretty well.

TEA TIME???

 A couple months ago the girls and I went to a library tea party. Well, I showed up in jeans and Marielle had no shoes and a onsie. The girls had on costumes, because it was supposed to be a little kids tea party RIGHT??? WRONG!!!  We were about five minutes late and it was pretty clear we were EXTREMELY late!  ALLL the girls with grandmas and Moms were dressed super fancy, and this was a very elegant thing!  Go figure? The Library????

So I wanted a " do over", and I got it!

Our first REAL tea party!  The Mommies had tea and crumpets as well ( I've always wanted to say that!)

 As usual, good company makes for a good time. . . wait, make that GREAT time!!! Like, so good we will do it again for sure!

Lake season is back!!!  Annelise has a new ski trainer and she LOVES it! 

Julianna HATES IT!!!
